Let it snow...

The idea for this card came from an MFT sketch from a few weeks ago. I finally completed it after getting the YNS snowy mountains edge die (woot woot for sales). I can now make lots of fun winter scenes for those mischievous YNS Christmas chickies, yay!

Based on sketch:

Happy Father's Day

This is meant to be a personalized father's day card :) The koalas represent my two siblings and I - two gals and a guy - and that's why two of the koala cuties are wearing flowers!

Balloon shaker card

Hello there! I think happy days are days filled with rainbows and ballons. Don't you agree? :)

This shaker card is filled with Taylored Expressions' Little Bits - Balloons. I used the Taylored Expressions 9th birthday sketch (Happy birthday TE!):

One thing I need to remember is that scraps maketh scraps. I set out to use up some scraps and I really feel that I ended up with... more!

I have been building a stash of cards to send to Send A Smile 4 Kids Canada. This will be added to the pile and sent off shortly.

Happy holidays

Hello! There's (still) 130 days until Christmas 😁

I quite like this Christmas card. I randomly stamped snowflakes to create a background, and used the YNS Christmas Chickies paired with a sentiment from Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin. For some pizazz, I created a tiny wire coil behind the chickie, but it's a bit on the short side to be wobbling much.

Again, I was inspired by an old Mojo Monday sketch and the current YNS colour challenge:

From Me To You

Happy Sunday!

I CASE-ed the following card from Helen Gullett and used the colours from Your Next Stamp's Colour Challenge #58:

The stamp is a digi from Verve's Love From Me; thanks Julee!

The original plan was to repeat one of the other stamps as a watermark background (similar to the original card), but I decided to combine the sketch and colours with the following challenges:
... and followed this scrappy background tutorial.

This is going to be a thank you card (with a coffee gift card inside), and I am going to write the recipient's name over the coffee sleeve area. Not how it's done in real life, but I think it works.

I am submitting this to:
SSS Monday Challenge: Use your favourite tool (Fiskars trimmer)
