A bundle of joy is on the way

Another non-Christmas card, say whaaaat??

I love this Taylored Expressions baby onesie die. That + patterned paper make this card. No stamping on this one; I created my own digital sentiment because I made a matching inside text that says: Oops! I meant to say... More laundry is on the way! 😄

I am submitting this to:

YNS Challenge #129 - favourite from 2019 (using my favourite new-to-me technique - ink splatter background. I am finally letting go and accepting the randomness - and beauty - of it!)

Thinking of you!

Woot woot, putting some of those Black Friday goodies to use already 😉 I've had my eyes on the "Stacked with Fun" and "Cool Tag Banner Sentiments" stamp sets from Your Next Stamp for some time!

Inspired by this week's MFT sketch challenge and I am lovin' how it turned out. (Also lovin' using up some scraps of the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather patterned paper.)

I am submitting this to:

YNS Challenge #129 - favourite from 2019 (I think this is my favourite card this year. My husband says this is possibly his "favourite card ever" lol!)

Warm wishes

Kristina Werner is right (of course she is!) - card challenges get you out of card slumps! I had this Craftin Desert Divas Java Fox coloured and lying around for a few weeks with no idea how to put it on a card, but this week's MFT Wednesday sketch challenge was just the inspiration I needed:

Thank you Craftin Desert Divas for the wonderfully cute image :) (and the sentiment too!)

This card is going to Christina Hor's Cards for Little Hearts winter card drive - I encourage you to check it out!

Wishing you comfort and joy

It makes me so happy when a card comes together quickly. Bonus when it uses up scrappy pieces that have been lying around for a while! (Don't tell me I'm the only one who cuts up lots of die cut pieces and then don't know what to do with them 😅)

The "falling snow" on the top and bottom edges - it could also pass for coffee beans! 😄

Many thanks

Saying thanks is such a simple thing to do. I am grateful for so many things and I really need to "say" it more often!

Sending warm fuzzies

My little Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather paper pad is dwindling, but it was good to use up some of the scraps in this card; I even did a bit of paper piecing on the toque and scarf. I like how this one turned out :) As usual, those YNS Christmas chickies crack me up!

Let it snow...

The idea for this card came from an MFT sketch from a few weeks ago. I finally completed it after getting the YNS snowy mountains edge die (woot woot for sales). I can now make lots of fun winter scenes for those mischievous YNS Christmas chickies, yay!
